This note is an update on our earlier postings. We have been monitoring the rise in the lake level and it continues to follow the trend of earlier postings. In the past week the lake level has increased by 0.26 m (.85 ft) consistent with the previous forecast. In the next 10 days the forecasted river levels indicate this trend will continue with the lake rising an additional 0.57 m (1.9 ft.). These lake levels continue to be lower than observed in 2018.
Our next update will be posted in early June. Based on our review of the remaining snow pack data, we expect the rate of lake level rise to slow with the next forecast as long as the weather we have been experiencing continues.
